Description
Sparkling Wine – Classic Method (bottle fermentation)
The story of this exquisite sparkling wine produced from Pinot Noir (80%) and Chardonnay (20%) grapes dates back to 2006.
Mr. Edoardo Miroglio was inspired to create BRUT RESERVE 168, Millesimé 2006, believing in the enormous quality potential of the wine-growing area of the Thracian Valley.
A part of the production of vintage 2006 (total of 2200 bottles) has been ageing on the lees for 14 years, or 168 months, to be degorged only in August 2020. As a result of the long ageing, EDOARDO MIROGLIO Brut Reserve Millesimé 2006 possesses a shiny golden color with tinges of green and fine bubbles in a persistent stream covering the surface. Elegance and finesse on the nose, with notes of dry fruits, white flowers, vanilla and toasted crust of bread. Creamy effervescence, fresh and rounded taste, leaving a sensation of maturity and completeness in the lingering finish.
Each of the limited number of bottles is exclusively designed by hand painting, and the number of the bottle is inscribed on the metal cap of the muselet, thus making it unique and a special collector’s item.
